The news on M.J.'s dismissal was the first thing i heard on the radio on my way to the university. At first, I thought it was just a bad joke or a rumor... well, at least I hope it was because it all came as a shock to me more than anything. Until now, I still can't digest the news the way I want it to be 'digested'. It's all too fast and shocking for me to acknowledge that this had happened. M.J. had been involved indirectly in my growing years as he was one of the first artists that brought any musical interest to my siblings and I. This is all to sad to hear and if there is one word I would use to decribe him is that he is a GENIUS. My condolences to the family and people worldwide for the lost of a talented genius who had brought a lot of changes to the world. You were the man of the century, Michael... and you still are.
On a side note, while I was drying myself up after a nice shower before leaving for school this morning, I suddenly remembered something someone asked me a few days ago in the library. Hahah, you know who you are! The question was what if you can move at the speed of light? What would have happened?
Now, at that moment, I started thinking 'what if I can really travel at the speed of light?'. Think about it this way for a moment... imagine you are clad in your soggy towel right out of a shower. Then, you move at the speed of light. What do you think will happen?
Well, I thought 'Okay, so i move at the speed of light' and i thought 'Wow, wouldn't that be great. Instant drying without any frustration. It would be so easy!'. But wait a minute! Then, i started wondering 'Well, if we are moving that fast...'
God knows where will we end up clad in our soggy towels! Worst still, what if we lose the towel due to the swiftness and all? Hahah... wouldn't that be awful! =S So maybe having the capability to move at the speed of light isn't so great at all if you have to move at that speed all the time. Just remember the wide-jawed faces that will be gawking at you... Who knows, you might even lose your clothes as you move when we come to think of it!
